“I tried all sorts of socks to sleep in,” says Gorman. “Some
were too hot, others too tight or too high on the ankle. It’s
been fun to create a brand for sleeping in. Many of my women
friends sleep in socks, so I knew there was a market.”
Gorman works with a small, family-owned and operated sock
maker in the Midwest to produce Zzooties. “It was important
to me that Zzooties be made in the U.S. by adults.” They were
also experts at producing socks with the quality and material
content Gorman wanted.

cotton with just a bit of nylon -- your feet are warmer than
