Bed socks offer sleep benefits even in warmer months
Bethlehem, CT -- ZzootiesTM Sleeping Booties, socks to wear
while sleeping in bed, are moisture-wicking, breathable, and
offer sleep enhancing benefits, year-round.
In 1998, a Swiss research study reported that making feet warmer
than the room temperature can help bring on sleep. Zzooties
sleep socks were launched in November 2002. The company has
recently added a spring and summer weight "Rosebud Zzootie"
for the warmer months. Call 877-996-6843). See www.zzooties.com.
While Zzooties is a Connecticut-based company, a small, family-owned
and operated sock maker in the Midwest produces Zzooties. "It
was important to me that Zzooties be made in the U.S. by adults,"
says founder Lynn Gorman. They were also experts at producing
socks with the quality and material content Gorman wanted.
"With Zzooties' fiber content -- mostly CoolMax® and cotton
with just a bit of nylon -- your feet are warmer than room temperature,
warmer than the sheets, and warmer than the backs of your partner's
legs," says Gorman. "Yet, the CoolMax material helps to keep
feet dry and cotton is a 'breathable' material. I wear them
even in the warmer months."
Zzooties, $9.95, plus shipping and handling. Call 1-877-ZZOOTIE
(877-996-6843) to order.
Notes to editors:
